Purpose:
This project will replace and extend the length and width of the runway, taxiway and aprons, improve drainage, replace Pilot Activated lighting and deliver an all-weather access patient transfer station and a new dedicated helipad landing area at Echuca Aerodrome. This project will enhance pilot and passenger safety and access for all users, especially for essential services such as aeromedical and other emergency services in the region.
