Accountable accounting: making reliable estimates of Soil Organic Carbon
Purpose:
The project aims to develop an integrated method to estimate soil carbon at one-third of the cost of currently available methods. The project will consist of a feasibility study to determine if our novel targeted sample design, integrated with latest non-destructive measurement and remote sensing presents a significant cost reduction, followed by a workshop to plan a larger-scale proof of concept study applying the new approach to Australian conditions.
