Purpose:
The project will deliver a purpose built emergency operations centre for the Goulburn Mulwaree area which is capable of meeting the increasing impacts of future bushfire seasons and other disasters including those driven by climate change impacts.
The new fit for purpose building will provide increased responsiveness and capability for the management and coordination of local emergency services in times of need for the Goulburn Mulwaree community. The proposed EOC will replace the current arrangement for disaster response coordination which relies on the use of the council chambers which is limited in space and functionality.
