Purpose:
GrainCorp and its project partners will undertake large-scale dairy and beef livestock grazing trials to incorporate and validate the use of Asparagopsis ingredients in the delivery low emission feed supplements. The goal of the project is to create methane reducing feeds, which are commercially tested, have a high level of efficacy, and can be delivered through existing supply chains to livestock producers for the use pastoral farming systems in Australia and globally. As a leading Australian animal feed supplier, GrainCorp is uniquely positioned to deliver methane-reducing additives at a scale which will have a material impact on methane reduction in pastoral systems.
