Grant Activity:
“Max Up†Trial – Maximising uptake of lung cancer screening and smoking cessation outcomes
Purpose:
As Cancer Australia works towards a national lung cancer screening program, knowledge gaps remain. Important unanswered questions are “how do we best help people at risk of lung cancer quit smoking?†and “to what extent will Quitline clients engage with screening?â€. Our research will answer these questions and help ensure lung cancer screening delivers the best health outcomes to people at risk of lung cancer, by detecting lung cancer early, and giving people the greatest chance to quit smoking.
