Purpose:
This project will establish a synthetic magnesium plant near Karratha which will create a new industry in Northern Australia. This will allow recovery of high purity magnesium from waste material, that is converted into value added products that have a high demand in the marketplace. An advanced manufacturing industry will be established in WA for the production of materials that can be used to make building products, pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals.
