The Economic Development Officer - Disaster Recoveries main focus will be on resilience projects that support and promote economic recovery in the local community, including regional development and investment opportunities, local jobs growth and the continued development of local agriculture-based businesses.
As well as continuing to develop strategies and frameworks for strong, sustainable and collaborative community lead resilience and disaster management. The outcomes of the role will be to support resilient economic stability, autonomy and establish food security to buffer against future external shocks and supply line disruptions.
