Samaritan College attend the Santos Science Experience
Purpose:
As a South Australian regional school, Samaritan College students have limited opportunities to experience an all encompassing STEM experience that allows them exposure to difference areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Students will travel from Whyalla to Adelaide and undertake a 3 day intensive STEM experience at Flinders University and participate in a range of practical activities in the areas of Forensics, Robotics, Biology and Chemistry to allow them to continue to increase their interest in these areas. The outcomes of this being increasing student's subject selections in the Sciences at a SACE level and hopefully carrying on to University.
