Purpose:
This project will increase public access to outdoor recreation for both the local community and visitors to American River. This will include resurfacing the existing oval, installing oval lighting, purchasing outdoor sports equipment (e.g. soccer goals, volleyball net, cricket nets, etc.), creating a multi-purpose bike and walking/running track, installing outdoor exercise stations along the track, and building a nature play playground area, including picnic tables for families to use.
