Purpose:
The Corryong Recreation Reserve Committee is proposing upgrades to the Upper Murray Events Centre (UMEC) so it can be used as a primary evacuation centre in a events such as bushfires. The scope includes:
Installation of exterior hose cabinets and reels, rooftop sprinkler system, sprinklers on adjacent grounds, water tank, pressure pump, floodlights and playground
Spray sealing adjacent centre car park
Emergency response communications and data upgrade
Erect 250 metre steel fence fire barrier.
