Purpose:
The project will prototype the parameterisation of RothC using on-farm digital agriculture data such as crop yield and soil maps. This spatial data will allow high resolution modelling in space and time of soil carbon. The approved funding amount for this project was less than the $50,000 minimum grant amount outlined in the guidelines. It was agreed that the same project scope could be delivered for less Commonwealth funding, resulting in better value for money outcomes for the Commonwealth.
