VEX IQ Competition (VIQC)
Purpose:
The REC Foundation organises VEX IQ Robotics Competitions. It is the largest Robotics Competition in the world. Its mission is to increase student interest and involvement in STEM by engaging students in hands-on and sustainable robotics engineering programs. Sydney Robotics Academy has 4 VIQC teams. All the 4 teams will present Australia to attend VEX World Championships in May 2023 and the following tournaments held in Sydney in September and November. The teams build and program their robots. They learn how to control and operate the robots. SRA benefits greatly from the competitions as SRA is the leader in Australia. SRA encouraged more young students to be able to see STEM principles come to life.
