Purpose:
Gilmore College will support 16 Year 9 and 10 students from unrepresented backgrounds to attend Curtin Universitys Discover Program. Discover is a is a three-day holiday program (offered in the July 2024 and January 2025 school holiday period) delivered by a team of STEM-passionate university student leaders and academic staff, and gives secondary school students the chance to meet a Curtin innovator and get an insight into their research. It is held at Curtin Universitys Bentley Campus. The program targets students in Year 9 and 10 who have an interest in science or engineering, and would like to find out more about the many rewarding careers in STEM.
