Purpose:
The project will see an alternate access road to the Drake Hall and associated stormwater upgrades aimed at enhancing the halls capacity as a future evacuation centre for the village. By improving pathways, parking, road crossings and bus stop bay and shelter, the project will support the health, safety and well-being, environmental resilience and prosperity of the community. Enhancement to public space will deliver a more liveable village with accessible and attractive built environment for residents whilst encouraging increased visitation from tourists and the travelling public.
