Purpose:
The project will invest in structural improvements to the Lucyvale Hall. These include an extension to the hall footprint, refurbishing toilets and installing a new toilet/shower for disabled and elderly users. The project will relocate the water tank, replace the old linoleum floors with polished timber floors and renew the kitchen and cool room, giving it commercial catering capabilities.
The renovation will ensure the Hall supports the community in times of disaster and provides an accessible facility, hosting activities and events that encourage recovery, resilience and community connection. The project will boost the districts liveability and provide a community asset for current and future residents to enjoy.
