Purpose:
Select students from Mountain Creek High from Grade 9-10 Digital classes, and high performing students from Maths will be invited to a day visit to Sydney - one day in semester 1 and a separate day for different students in semester 2. The students will be met by staff who work in digital from Google, Atlassian, Canva, Fishburners (or similar, subject to availability) in Sydney. The project will build on the successful visits to these locations we made previously, prior to Covid outbreak. There is strong support from tech companies, including these tier 1 companies, to support students developing skills and knowledge in the digital space with a view to potentially joining the industry.
