First Lego League Challenge 2023
Purpose:
In 2023, Warwick SHS will form 2 teams for the First Lego League Challenge competition. This competition involves students engaging in two STEM problem-solving challenges. The Robot Challenge is building and programming a robot that completes missions on a field. The Innovation Project is to identify and solve a real-world problem. We are embedding this competition in curriculum, so students work on this competition during class time and are also assessed based on the Australian Curriculum while preparing for the competition. This competition focusses on Core Values: Teamwork, Inclusion, Innovation, Fun, Discovery and Impact. These align with 21st century skills, preparing students for a world beyond school, evolving with technology.
