Purpose:
Since 2019, no Australian high school STEM students have had the opportunity to travel and represent our nation at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world's largest high school Science fair. In response a new fair has been established called the Australian Science and Engineering Fair (AUSSEF), with the aim of giving our top STEM students the opportunity to represent Australia on the world stage. After a series of national judging stages, nine students have been selected to compete at ISEF 2023 in Dallas, Texas from May 14-19, 2023. These Australian STEM heroes will inspire future generations of students to pursue a career in STEM, after taking part in this life-changing experience.
