Kico Knee Innovation Company Pty Limited will purchase, install and commissioning an ultra-sonic welder, a 3D printer, a finishing machine, a wire cutter and instrumentation for cleaning, sterilising and tracking. The resulting manufacturing system will be used for the manufacture of mass customised, patient-specific implant components for hip and knee implants. A second product is the 360CAS navigation workflow system (surgical tools, hardware and software) for computer-assisted surgery, which will be sold to medical practitioners around the world.
