Purpose:
Engaging a consultant to review existing data, undertake desktop surveys and ground surveys to map known and potential koala habitat within the Local Government Area (LGA). Council will work with landholders to undertake fencing and planting activities to extend koala habitat in private land and to improve habitat quality, extent and linkages. Community education including developing and implementing a citizen science project to engage community members in koala conservation and creation of educational material.
