Inspiring all Australians in STEM
Grant Activity:
F1 in Schools National STEM Final - Riverside High School
Purpose:
For the F1 Challenge, students will refine their skills in the STEM domain across graphic design, marketing, manufacturing and coding. There is a strong focus around industry collaboration to build skills and understanding. The grant provides students with the best possible opportunity to represent Tasmania at a high level, and in the process, additional to their skill development, is them becoming strong role models within our school community and using their success to inspire younger students to engage within this competition, along with promoting STEM pathways. With the majority of our students being female, and through this challenge, we are hoping to build the profile of female students within STEM through ongoing mentoring programs.
