F1 in Schools ACT Finals
Purpose:
This grant application is to provide funding for students of Canberra High School to compete in the F1 in Schools ACT State Finals for 21/22. F1 in Schools is a STEM based competition that requires students to design, build and race a CO2 powered F1 car. This is a multi–disciplinary project covering all aspects of STEM and other areas. Students are required to manage the project from designing a car and branding through to manufacture, marketing and documentation. Skills learnt include those identified as 21st century skills including critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, collaboration and teamwork, personal and social skills and ICT skills in addition to project management, budgeting, and 3D modelling and manufacture.
