Purpose:
This project will construct an Air Ambulance patient transfer station, including the construction of a road ambulance access way and taxiway/ patient transfer apron with line markings. This project will also install fencing, floodlighting and fire hydrants at the Bairnsdale Airport. This will enable medical staff to better care and treat patients in a fit-for purpose facility as well as enhancing safety and 24 hour all?weather access for all operations including aeromedical and other emergency services in the region.
