Students compete in Asia Pacific Open FLL Virtual Robotics Championship
Purpose:
The Student Robotics Club of SA (SRCSA), with a successful ten year operating record, has a team of 10 students, who won the Australian Championship and have been invited to participate in the Asia–Pacific Championship in July 2021. Event comprises all fields of STEM and has 3 parts. 1 Robot: students required to design a robot constructed of LEGO and program it to complete various missions on a 2.3m x 1.2m table and printed game mat. 2 Innovation project students identify a real world problem relating to the theme of the competition which this year is Game Changers, and present a researched solution to that problem. 3 Core Values students are assessed on how they work together on a set task in accordance with FIRST LEGO League core values.
