Purpose:
Students will compete in the State and National Finals of the F1 in Schools competition. Students design and race a model F1 car and present their project management, business planning, marketing, collaboration, and work portfolio to industry judges and scientists. The challenge is part of the world's largest secondary school technology program. Eaton Community College aims to provide high school students in the South West of Western Australia the opportunity to engage in, participate and compete in activities that develop technical and employability skills, and provide pathways to further education and training, and future careers. The benefits of participating in such activities include further engagement and enrolment in STEM based subjects.
