Purpose:
The project will upgrade the Tarcutta Recreation Reserve to significantly improve the existing facilities so that it is possible to continue running existing local recreational events such as Camp Drafting, Pony club, Show Jumping and Gymkhanas. The upgrade will also assist in creating an improved venue that will make it possible to expand and develop to attract regional sized events. Another key outcome is to provide facilities that will broaden the possible uses of the open space, such as camping, party hire, school camps and scouts. The upgrade will also make the site more suitable as a bush fire control staging area.
