Purpose:
Select students from Mountain Creek High School will travel to Cairns and compete against students attached to various schools across Far North Queensland, including Cairns School of Distance Education, in the VEX FNQ Regional Robotics competition.
The activities will develop students' knowledge and expertise in their discipline but also develop empathy and understanding for the role robots and entrepreneurship can play in solving identified problems and scaling the solution to commercial viability.
