During the Black Summer Bushfires, road closures were incredibly quick, ever changing and lead to confusion on the part of motorists being evacuated. The aim of this project is to research, scope and install variable message signs to be located on main arterial (Council owned) roads, to be used primarily during emergencies to guide motorists to safe routes.
