Grant Activity:
The grant activity for this project is to demolish the existing change rooms, construct new club rooms, including cladding, installation of new windows and glazed doors, plasterboard and sofit linings, an undercover area and a retaining wall.
Purpose:
The purpose of the project is to deliver on a 2022 Government Commitment to assist communities to build strengths and improve liveability. The project will double the current number of member changerooms, ensuring that changerooms can be allocated for female players, create a larger club room that can be utilised by the club for functions, as well as being available to the public for rental. It will create better viewing areas that are undercover and reduce sun exposure and will create new clubrooms that will be jointly used by the club and Melville Athletics Club, who utilise the reserve in the summer.
