Purpose:
HotHouse Theatre will produce the world premiere production of landmark new Australian play, UNPRECEDENTED, by Campion Decent in Wodonga, followed by a regional towns tour of the production into eight fire-affected Local Government Areas (LGAs). Over several stages, this project will contribute to the social & economic recovery of eight LGAs, support young people to process their experiences through trauma-informed creative practice leading to the creation of a living memorial; provide an entertaining evening to stimulate overnight stays and local spending; and offer a unique opportunity for communities to engage together in a shared experience, acknowledge their truths, celebrate their resilience and build the confidence needed to continue the recovery journey going forward.
