Grant Activity:
Steps to advance lower-cost, accurate measurement for Australian soils
Purpose:
This feasibility study has three parts that will help justify significant expenditure on a major project to follow.
1. Review with collaborators current offerings in key areas, and negotiate access to data and sharing scientific advances underpinning our proposed methodology.
2. Apply emerging test results from remote measurements on plant functions and fine-scale rainfall to show direct operational linkages with current limited data sets on soil C.
3. Share results among collaborators on recent advances in soil biome functionality and demonstrate proof-of-concept.
