Purpose:
This project will replace the existing timber bridge (Smith's Bridge on Smith Road) with a reinforced concrete bridge. The key activities will be delivered in two distinct stages; Stage 1 will be detailed design and Stage 2 will be construction.
The key outcome of this project will be the increased resilience of this bridge to bushfires. There are several other supplementary outcomes which have been discussed below in Project Outcomes.
