Purpose:
30 female students from Mountain Creek High from Grade 9-10 Digital classes and high performing female students from Maths will be invited to an an overnight visit to Canberra. The girls will then be met by female staff who work in digital from Google, Atlassian, Canva, Fishburners in Sydney and ADFA, Australian Signals Directorate, Services Australia and Australian Cyber Security Centre, Dept of Agriculture and Fisheries and Dept of Employment and Workplace Relations in Canberra. The project will build on the successful pilot we ran in 2022 where 12 girls visited these Canberra Depts with great success and the Sydney locations have been visited previously.
