Purpose:
A grant has been awarded to help marginalised youth at high risk aged 12-24 to develop life skills to prevent them from becoming entrenched in the criminal justice system and to promote inclusion and build community resilience. The expected outcomes of the project are improved engagement of youth at high risk in education, work ready programs and the community more generally and decreased anti-social behaviour or engagement in criminal activity. The grant is expected to fund the delivery of youth engagement activities in Dandenong, Hampton Park and Noble Park, Victoria.
