Purpose:
WSC will employ a community development specialist who will work with local volunteers, providing skills and resources to assist with reactivating community facilities (Halls, Recreation Reserves and Senior Citizens) and increasing community participation and social connection. These community-run facilities are often the heart of small, rural communities that have limited public gathering space. These smaller and more remote towns are often also at increased risk of bushfire e.g. Dargo township.
