The Mobile Community Hub - A Neighbourhood House on wheels!
Purpose:
Taking a community-led approach, a mobile resource will be built to reconnect communities in recovery - geographically located up to 120km from the city of Wangaratta. The mobile hub will be resourced to deliver arts, digital support, cinema sessions, cultural activities, community BBQs and events throughout the municipality and bordering townships. The aims of the project include reducing social isolation, improving mental health and connecting people to build stronger, more resilient communities. An asset available for community use, the hub will be deployed to evacuation centres as a resource supporting evacuees when required.
