Purpose:
Our STEM Enrichment Tour represents an exceptional opportunity for our group of rural, secondary students to develop their STEM skills, to be enriched in STEM disciplines and to be inspired to pursue STEM careers. Across their five-day tour of STEM-focused sites and educational facilities, students will tour a bauxite mine, an alumina refinery, a nickel refinery, a nickel sulphate plant and a naval base, visit an observatory and engage with dedicated educational programs at the Aquarium of Western Australia, the Harry Perkins Institute, and the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research.
