Purpose:
The project will secure a community bus accessible for the small and remote communities of East Gippsland. The bus will be supported by the Paynesville community and administered by the Paynesville Neighbourhood Centre (PNC), the bus will support communities to reconnect throughout the Region, enabling access to a range of social, health & wellbeing, leisure and education programs offered by community organisations and education providers. It is anticipated that the project will make a significant contribution to the local economy by supporting the participation of communities in local education and employment pathways, courses and activities and the scheduling of shopping trips to the small remote towns throughout the region.
