Purpose:

Twofold Aboriginal Corporation will construct a Cultural Training and Job Skills Development Centre (The Centre). The Centre will be a 40m by 10m by 5m high shed. The building will be fitted out to facilitate indoor cultural training programs and accredited job skills training for disadvantaged long-term unemployed people. Although focusing on Aboriginal people, the Centre will welcome anyone from the community wanting to change their lives through gaining employment. The Centre will enable a suite of cultural immersion programs under development by Twofold Aboriginal Corporation designed to establish and strengthen a sense of pride in and appreciation of aboriginal cultural heritage for both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community members.
