FRC Team 5985 (Project Bucephalus) competing in World Championships in USA
Purpose:
The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international robotics event for teams of high school students. In a yearly challenge, students develop technical, business, and life skills that prepare them for future study and careers. Teams around the world compete in regional events, with the ultimate goal of advancing to the FIRST World Championships in Texas, USA. Team 5985 (Project Bucephalus) is a Wollongong community team of 44 students from 19 high schools. After a spectacular performance in 2023, 5985 have pre-qualified for the 2024 World Championships. The team will travel to Texas, where they will compete with (and learn from) 700+ of the best robotics teams in the work. This project focuses on the costs of attending this event.
