2023 CDU Science Experience for students in a remote school
Purpose:
Nhulunbuy High School would like to send 10 students and two teachers during the interactive three day science experience with Charles Darwin University, where students will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to explore careers in engineering, health science, medicine, exercise and sport science, augmented and virtual reality, aquaculture, environmental science, trades and apprenticeships and bush fire management. Living in a remote community, many students do not have the opportunity to participate in events such as the CDU Science experience. This grant would provide the opportunity to further inspire and foster some of our year 9 and 10 students future endeavour and passion in the Science, Engineering and IT field.
