2023 FIRST Tech Challenge
Purpose:
The FIRST Tech Challenge is an engineering and robotics competition. Teams work through the design process to produce a competitive robot. They are inspired to think like engineers and design, build and code robots to compete in an alliance format against another team. Robots are built from a reusable platform, powered by android technology and coded using java-based programming. Teams share their knowledge through outreach programs at differing levels, including primary schools, secondary schools and at industry level. This competition deepens their connection to schooling and enhances their thinking for the future. They engage within our school community as mentors for other students, run STEM days and are part of a STEM portfolio team.
