Purpose:
In addition to classroom and laboratory lessons, Joondalup Primary School offers a 6 week, after school Science Enrichment Program. The program is designed to enrich the natural curiosity of students by engaging them in a variety of open ended STEM investigations that explore all the fields of science as taught in the Australian Curriculum. To provide a wider scope of STEM learning opportunities, the 60 students who attend the program will attend an excursion to Scitech. Students will be involved in six activities that cover all four Science Understandings. The activities will also require students to utilise their STEM and Science Inquiry skills as they engage and methodically work through each learning activity.
