Purpose:
This project will deliver an all-inclusive refurbishment of the Katoomba Civic Centre to accommodate a vibrant and active precinct within the Katoomba Town Centre. The refurbishment will include a refurbishment of the old library , transforming it into a flexible work space and will also revitalise other areas throughout the precinct with re-painting, art installations, new fixed street furniture improvements to the toilet/amenity facilities and lighting improvements.
The project will provide social and economic benefits to the local community and will deliver a positive connection to Katoomba Street as well as connections through to College Lane and the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre.
