Purpose:
This project will address the lessons learnt from the 2019 Black Summer Bushfires in the Glen Innes Severn LGA with issues for emergency services locating rural properties and their entrances.
Council proposes to make available rural address signage and an installation service for LGA landholders to alleviate this main issue. This project aims to provide all LGA rural properties with a nationally recognised addressing system.
2. The grantee has sought an extension of time to 30/6/24 to complete the project (new Agreed End Date is 7/12/24), and the payments schedule needs to be adjusted accordingly. This means $59,238 Final Payment originally for 2023/24 will need to be moved to 2024/25.
