Senior Biology Excursion
Purpose:
This excursion will provide an opportunity for our rural students to experience real world applications of STEM subjects, in particular, the biological sciences. This will deepen their knowledge and understanding on the application of biology and its significance in finding solutions to health and sustainability issues in a changing world. The students will visit 3 STEM based locations, The Australian Museum, the Museum of Health and Disease and Taronga Zoo. All of which will allow them to explore the key concepts of the biology syllabus as well as the opportunity to observe first hand, career opportunities in the Sciences.
