Purpose:
The bushfires in the summer of 2019/20 had a significant impact on the lives and livelihoods of the community, while most property damage has been addressed the mental and physical wellbeing support of people has not. To address this, a series of workshops and presentations will be conducted together with a number of reward and recognition events. Professionals and people with first hand experience will be engaged. Facilities and equipment will be refurbished/updated to conduct these programs and setup facilities to deal with these types of emergencies in the future.
