The National Palliative Care Projects Grant Opportunity is an open competitive opportunity with a total budget of $9.5 million (GST exclusive over three years from 2023-24). Note: projects must be delivered nationally.
This grant opportunity will fund projects that focus on the two action areas from the National Palliative Care Strategy (2018) Implementation Plan (the Implementation Plan):
o Action Area One: Access to palliative care is increased, particularly for underserved populations, including but not limited to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/ or people who live in rural and remote locations.
o Action Area Two: Collaboration of services and coordination of palliative care for patients and their carers is improved.
