The purpose of the grant is to provide additional recovery support to limit the financial hardship for individuals who live in the most significantly affected local government areas affected by severe weather, heavy rainfall and associated flooding that impacted New South Wales in February and March 2022.

In accordance with the eligibility criteria outlined in the Program Guidelines.

Note every eligible adult will receive a payment of $2,000, with an additional $800 per eligible child.
