Description:

The purpose of the Grant is to provide targeted funding to Newcastle Airport Pty Limited (NAPL) to assist it to upgrade the Newcastle Airport International Terminal. This Grant will fund construction of the upgraded international terminal including border services facilities to increase the capacity, efficiency and effectiveness of international passengers and border processing (customs, immigration, and biosecurity) at Newcastle Airport.

Eligibility:

The grantee is Newcastle Airport Pty Limited (ABN 30 060 254 542). Newcastle Airport Limited undertakes the operations and development of civil aviation facilities at Newcastle Airport, as an agent of the Newcastle Airport Partnership between Newcastle City Council and Port Stephens Council.

Eligible grant activities are activities directly related to the upgrading of the international terminal, including border services facilities, at Newcastle Airport. 

Grant Activity Timeframe:

April 2023 to 30 June 2024 

Total Amount Available (AUD):

$55,000,000.00
